How to Become a QAFP™.

Earn your QAFP™ designation in three easy steps.

Work Experience

Complete 1 year of relevant work experience in the financial services field. (The year of experience is not required to begin QAFP program, only to earn the designation.)

QAFP™ Course

Complete all of the modules and coursework involved in a FP-recognized QAFP™ Certification Education Program (BCC’s course is the 30-year industry leader).

QAFP™ Exam

Challenge and pass the QAFP™ exam after completing all of your coursework and exam prep.

In order to earn the QAFP™ designation, students also need to take the following required co-requisites from FP Canada:

  • Introduction to Professional Ethics (only from FP Canada)
  • PEP or Professional Education program (only from FP Canada)
