Note: If you do not already hold a Life or A&S Insurance license in Canada, you likely need to take another course!Note: If you are looking to apply for a license in Québéc and already hold a license in another province, this is the course you should take.Click here for the Full LLQP, A&S, or Top Up Courses.This course includes the certification required to write the provincial licensing exam and to apply for Life Insurance and Accident and Sickness Insurance licenses for agents already licensed outside of Québéc. This course is currently valid in every Canadian jurisdiction except Québéc. The course consists of the Ethics & Professional Practice (Civil Code) module based on the CISRO/OCRA textbook. Registration fees include all development fees, but provincial examination and licensing fees are separate. All registrants must have a Canadian Insurance Participant Registry number to enroll in this course. You can get yours here.To complete this course, students will complete one Certification Exam. Resources include an electronic textbook, learning activities, video series and a Mock Exam which must be passed with a score of 70% or higher to write the Certification Exam. All BCC exams are written online and do not require supervision.There are 100 attempts for the Mock Exam and 4 attempts for the Certification Exam. While the successful completion of the exams is the end goal of the LLQP, our program is designed to provide students with the knowledge required to make decisions as a licensed agent in practical, real world scenarios. Join our knowledgeable instructors for a comprehensive seminar covering the LLQP course. Classes provide an excellent opportunity for students to further their understanding of the challenging topics that make up the LLQP. All live instruction classes run from 08:00-16:30 Mountain Time.Upon successful completion of the Certification Exam, Business Career College will electronically notify the CIPR database which will allow registration in the provincial licensing exam within one business day. The provincial exam is not included in this package. Students are responsible for registering for the provincial licensing exam with the appropriate organization in their jurisdiction.
