Earn your CFP® designation in three easy steps.

Work Experience

Complete 3 years of relevant work experience in the financial services field.

CFP® Course

Complete all of the modules and coursework involved in a FP-recognized CFP® Certification Education Program (BCC’s course is the 30-year industry leader).

CFP® Exam

Challenge and pass the CFP® exam after completing all of your coursework and exam prep.

In order to earn the CFP® designation, students also need to take the following required co-requisites from FP Canada:

  • Introduction to Professional Ethics (only from FP Canada)
  • PEP or Professional Education program (only from FP Canada)
