Important Update: BCC Core & Advanced Curriculum Programs
The Transfer Deadline Has Passed
For more than a decade, BCC was proud to deliver Core and Advanced Curriculum programs that fulfilled the technical education requirement for the QAFP® and CFP® designation pathways.
As part of FP Canada’s shift to a more centralized delivery model for technical education, BCC concluded its role as an approved provider of these programs on August 29, 2025.
The transition period for BCC learners has now fully passed. This means BCC is no longer able to submit transfer requests, manage coursework transitions, or facilitate transfer equivalencies with FP Canada on a learner’s behalf.
If you did not complete your Core or Advanced Curriculum program with BCC before the deadline, and you would still like to continue pursuing your QAFP® or CFP® designation, you must contact FP Canada directly to review your available options.

What This Means for Former BCC Students
Your designation goals may still be possible, but your next steps must now be confirmed directly with FP Canada.
FP Canada will determine what options may be available based on your previous coursework, current certification pathway requirements, and any applicable policies or deadlines.
BCC is not able to make decisions on FP Canada’s behalf, guarantee transfer recognition, or confirm whether previous coursework will apply toward your designation pathway.

No Changes for Exam Prep Students
This update only applies to BCC’s former Core and Advanced Curriculum programs.
If you are enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, BCC’s CFP® Exam Prep or QAFP® Exam Prep programs, there are no changes. You will continue to receive the same high-quality instruction, expert guidance, and exam-focused support that BCC is known for.
